| | I suppose one could have gripes here or there (wish they had dropped the awful Gone in 60 Seconds for Black Hawk Down) but in general you get a 10 disc set for a very cheap price.pI won't review the movies; they are all well known.pThe extras are very nice. Sound video totally satisfactory with The Rock sporting DTS. All movies have Dolby Digital 5.1.pEven with the limitations which some of the movies in the set have, I would still recommend as a good buy.
| | | There really isn't a bad film here-Enemy of the State's final climax always seems to lack a crescendo to me and Pearl Harbor would not of been savaged I'm sure had the film ended 20 minutes earlier. But we're all familiar with these films-they arrive in a sturdy box and for value for money this is much better than lashing out on a soap or sci fi box set.

| | A while ago, I nearly bought a Nicholas Cage box set, but it was out of stock. I am so glad I didn't!! This little beauty is a fantastically priced treasure chest of some of the best action movies ever made. It comes beautifully packaged in a slick black lidded box with a collage of the main stars and contains (count em!) no less than TEN discs. Nick Cage features in full - The Rock, Con Air, Gone in 60 Seconds..then add the brilliant Enemy of the State and the two disc versions of Pearl Harbour (!!) and Armageddon (Ben Affleck in all his gorgeous glory). Plus one I hadn't seen before - Crimson Tide. Even as a girl - I cant see why you would not want this fabulous collection on your shelf. Buy it now!
| | | Jerry Bruckheimer, one of the most recent and well loved film producers. Not only does he make superb action films, but has the ability to surpass his sterotyped genre and make comedy, romance and teen movies. pThis collection of DVDs highlights some of his greates action projects. Ranging from the far fethced and exciting Armageddon to the tragic but movingly true story of Pearl Harbor. pAdmittedly as a fan of Bruckheimer I am a little disappointed to see some of his older classics such as Top Gun, Days of Thunder and most noticeably Bad Boys missing from the set. We can only watch with great anticipation for perhaps a second volume which might include these and some of his more recent pictures including: Bad Company, Black Hawk Down and the long awaited Bad Boys 2. pAll in all this collection is a must have for both fans of action and Bruckheimer alike. Save up and buy this piece of film magic today!

| | The films contained within this set varie in quality (none dipping below average), but the value-for-money is ourtstanding. Here you are getting several films, in a special edition boxset for a low (taking into account indivual film prices) price. Snap it up now, after all, LIMITED EDITION, means just that. You'll regret when this costs a small fortune on eBay in a couple of years!
